NEW TRAINING: Decent Jobs for Rural Youth

Unlock the Potential of Rural Economies and Empower Youth!

The rural economy plays a crucial role in creating decent, productive jobs and driving sustainable development in many developing countries. Despite its significance, rural areas are often marked by severe decent work deficits and poverty, with nearly 80% of the world’s poor residing in these regions. Youth, especially in Africa, are disproportionately affected, facing numerous challenges in accessing productive employment due to various constraints.

Join Our In-Depth Training Course: This course is designed to address these critical issues by providing a comprehensive understanding of rural employment challenges in developing countries. We will delve into the specific obstacles faced by rural youth—particularly young women—and explore effective policy elements and intervention strategies to create and nurture decent jobs for them.

Who Should Attend? This course is ideal for policymakers, planners, technical officials, and experts from relevant ministries and institutions. It's especially relevant for those involved in labor, employment, agriculture, rural development, and economic planning. We also welcome social partners, researchers, policy analysts, and professionals from international, regional, and national organizations, as well as academia and donor organizations, particularly those active in rural development.
